Pharmacist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist. The incoming pharmacist will join a great team based in this popular pharmacy at the heart of community in this beautiful Oxfordshire location.
This is a full time role and will suit highly motivated and commercially aware individuals looking to work within a well supported pharmacy team and infrastructure, bringing your own experience and influence to a thriving environment within a successful pharmacy organisation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, be service oriented and possess strong medication administration skills.
The incoming Pharmacist will assist in providing pharmacy services such as Pharmacy First, NMS, etc, and will have a thorough understanding of Community Pharmacy. They will look to develop the pharmacy business, support with staff training, management and development.
Duties
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
- Provide counselling on medication usage and potential side effects
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Conduct medication reviews and monitor drug therapies for effectiveness
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to legal requirements
- Oversee pharmacy technicians and support staff
Qualifications
A valid pharmacy degree from an accredited institution. Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals alike. A commitment to providing high-quality patient care and improving health outcomes through effective medication management.
