Job Description

We are recruiting an enthusiastic pharmacist to run our branch in Strood. The branch is situated next to a GP surgery and it is a slow pace branch, ideal for newly qualified pharmacists. We dispense a number of dossett trays.

We are looking for a self-driven pharmacist, passionate about patient care and who embraces the opportunity to learn new skills and deliver NHS and private services. Training will be provided if required. The candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities in the pharmacy, checking prescription items, managing and creating new clinical services, and supervising pharmacy support staff to attain optimum performance.

Essential: GPhC registration

Preferred: experience in primary care, dealing with prescription queries, running influenza vaccination clinics, proficiency in using Proscript Connect and leading skills.

The Pharmacist will run our fantastic team of experienced NVQ2 dispensers and occasionally in-training support staff.

We are ideally looking for someone who can fulfil 5 days a day week although 3-4 days a week can be discussed at the interview.
