We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our small independent Pharmacy team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safe, effective use of medications for our patients and enhancing the business. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, as well as a comprehensive understanding of evolving pharmacy environment.
The Pharmacist will work closely with healthcare professionals and rest of our team.
Duties
Clinically check prescriptions accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Provide expert advice on medication and on minor ailments to patients.
Educate patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and lifestyle modifications to improve health outcomes.
Provide local and enhanced NHS services.
Promote private services - www.healma.co.uk
Be familiar with NHS 10 year strategy for Pharmacy - work towards implementing the plan into practice .
Work as part of a Team
Qualifications
A valid Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) is essential. .
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly to patients and colleagues.
Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Busisness Requirements
Working hours are Tuesday to Saturday - a total of 44hrs/ week
