Overview of the role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Shotton Lane in Deeside.


This community pharmacy is commutable from Chester and is located on near the train station (e.g. high street). It has a good relationship with the local GP surgery.

How our pharmacy makes a difference:

It dispenses 1,600 items a week, It provides a wide range of services including flu, dmr, ehc, e/s, sttt, cas uti, smoking, weightloss. It provides services to 2 substance misuse patients.

This pharmacy is open

8:30am

until 6:00pm

, Monday - Friday

and closed 1 hour for lunch. The dynamic team at this pharmacy is comprised of

2 full time team managers and 2 part time ACT.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is desired but not essential. You will be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You'll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits


We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.


We are focussed on mental health and wellbeing which is why we've put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.
