Overview of the role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Marple - The Hollins Pharmacy.


This community pharmacy is commutable from Greater Manchester and Cheshire and is located on a high street. It has a great relationship with the local GP surgery/health centre.

How our pharmacy makes a difference:

It dispenses 6,000 items a month. It provides a wide range of services including all NHS provisioned services plus covid vaccines. It dispenses 895 community blisters dispensed from our central hub.

This pharmacy is open Monday - Friday 9am-5.30pm and Saturday 9am - 1pm.

Working hours:

Option 1 - Monday - Friday with alternate Saturdays

Option 2 - 4 days per wee with

alternate Saturdays

The dynamic team at this pharmacy is comprised of 1 team leader, 1 full time pharmacy assistant and 2 part time pharmacy assistants.


The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is desired but not essential. You will be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You'll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits


We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.


We are focussed on mental health and wellbeing which is why we've put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.
