Overview of the role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Tonyrefail.


This community pharmacy is commutable from Cardiff, only a 30/35 minute drive away and is located on near the main high street of the village.


This large village pharmacy has a regular patient base and a sister pharmacy close by with scope to increase service provision and use clinical knowledge.


IP is desirable but not essential.

How our pharmacy makes a difference:

It dispenses 18k/19k items a month. It provides a wide range of services including CAS, DMR, Flu, EMS, EHC, STTT and UTI.

This pharmacy is open

Monday

until

Friday, 9am - 6pm

. The dynamic team at this pharmacy is comprised of

1 team leader (checker), 1 pharmacy technician, 1 ACT and 8 qualified pharmacy assistants

.


The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is desired but not essential. You will be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You'll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits


We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.


We are focussed on mental health and wellbeing which is why we've put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.
