About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Pharmacist (GPhC registered) to join our vaccination team, delivering COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations from our mobile vaccination bus. You will play a vital role in supporting public health by ensuring safe, effective, and patient-centred vaccination delivery across Manchester or West Lancashire.
Key Responsibilities
Administer COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations in line with national and local clinical guidelines.
Provide high-quality patient care, reassurance, and support.
Accurately complete vaccination records and documentation.
Follow infection control, cold chain, and safety protocols at all times.
Respond appropriately to any clinical incidents, including anaphylaxis.
Work collaboratively with the wider vaccination team to ensure smooth service delivery.
Requirements
Current GPhC Registration (Essential).
Experience in vaccination or similar clinical service delivery.
Up-to-date vaccination training.
Current training in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Anaphylaxis management.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Ability to work flexible 6-10.5 hour shifts on a rota basis.
Must be able to travel to vaccination bus locations within Manchester or West Lancashire.
