The post involves clinical checking, safe and legal supply of medicines, and delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care in line with GPhC standards and NHS Terms of Service. Full induction and ongoing support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Act as
Responsible Pharmacist
when required.
Clinically check NHS and private prescriptions.
Ensure safe, accurate, and legal supply of medicines.
Provide pharmaceutical advice to patients remotely and, where applicable, in branch.
Liaise with GP practices and other healthcare professionals.
Work in accordance with pharmacy SOPs, GPhC standards, and NHS regulations.
Support governance, audits, and continuous service improvement.
Person Specification
Essential
MPharm degree (or equivalent)
Registered with the
GPhC
Good communication and organisational skills
Ability to work effectively within a team
Desirable
Experience in community or distance-selling pharmacy
Familiarity with
Titan PMR
(preferred but not essential)
Knowledge of EPS and NHS pharmacy services
