Job Summary

We are seeking a professional, committed and patient-focused

Responsible Pharmacist

to lead the safe and efficient operation of our community pharmacy. This role is ideal for a pharmacist confident in clinical practice, supportive of team development and keen to help grow both NHS and private healthcare services.

The position carries full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, ensuring the accurate preparation and supply of medicines in line with legal and professional standards. The role involves offering advice on medicines, minor ailments and healthy lifestyles, while guiding and supporting the dispensary and counter teams. Duties also include maintaining accurate Patient Medication Records, overseeing stock management and working closely with GPs and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.

A significant focus of this role is the delivery and expansion of

private clinical services

, in addition to established NHS services. This includes contributing to service development, ensuring high-quality delivery and supporting the growth of the pharmacy's clinical offering.

The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and a commitment to ongoing CPD, confidence with pharmacy IT systems, a collaborative working style and a strong commitment to patient care are essential.
