We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications to our patients. You will work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support medication administration processes.
Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately.
Provide excellent patient care by answering queries and offering guidance on medication use.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Manage inventory, including ordering, restocking, and monitoring expiration dates of medications.
Prepare and label medication containers according to established protocols.
Assist in the administration of medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the pharmacy workspace.
Requirements
Certification or qualification as an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician is essential
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction.
Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
