We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice to join our team. This role is designed for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment while developing essential skills in patient care and medication administration. The Apprentice will work closely with experienced professionals, receiving guidance and support throughout their training.
Duties
Assist in the administration of medications under the supervision of qualified staff.
Provide direct patient care, ensuring comfort and support during their treatment.
Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and medication administration.
Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of pharmacy practices and patient care techniques.
Collaborate with team members to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
Follow health and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is highly desirable.
Knowledge of medication administration processes is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
A commitment to providing excellent patient care and support.
Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required.
