Pharmacy Apprentice
Job Description
The role will involve the dispensing and labelling of medication, selling over the counter medications, requesting medication from local GP surgeries, taking prescription queries over the phone and assisting the pharmacist in private services including ear wax removal, private consultations, travel and Covid vaccinations, Botox/ dermal fillers, Weight loss and marketing.
The candidate will be enrolled onto a pharmacy training course, giving them a pharmacy dispensing qualification. Once course is complete (12 months) the candidate will be a qualified dispenser (hourly pay will then rise to national minimum wage). Further management opportunities will be available from this point for the right candidate.
Must be enthusiastic, and confident and a team player with a willingness to learn, and support in increasing the capabilities of the business.
Must be aged between 16-18
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Apprenticeship
Pay: From 7.55 per hour
Expected hours: 22.5 - 30 per week
