Pharmacy Assistant

As a Pharmacy Assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting our pharmacists in delivering exceptional pharmaceutical services. You will work in a collaborative healthcare environment, assisting with various tasks to ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medications to our patients.

What We're Looking For

A people person with excellent communication skills. Highly organised with a keen eye for detail. Previous pharmacy or retail experience is a plus, but not essential - full training provided! A team player who's ready to jump in and make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

Prescription Preparation: Accurately prepare and label medications under the supervision of a pharmacist, ensuring precision and safety at every step. Customer Care: Deliver outstanding service by assisting patients with questions, resolving concerns, and creating a welcoming, helpful environment at the pharmacy counter. Stock Management: Support the smooth operation of the pharmacy by helping monitor stock levels, receiving deliveries, and restocking shelves. Data Accuracy: Enter and update prescription information into the pharmacy system with great attention to detail, maintaining full compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Professional Growth: Stay informed on the latest in pharmacy practice and medications through ongoing training and continuous professional development.
