Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medication to patients. You will be responsible for assisting pharmacists in various tasks, including medication preparation and patient care, while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications to patients. Provide exceptional patient care by answering queries and offering guidance on medication usage. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and ensure proper documentation of all pharmacy activities. Manage inventory by ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceutical supplies. Conduct medication administration under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as pharmacy policies and procedures. Participate in training programmes to enhance knowledge and skills relevant to pharmacy practice.

Experience

A minimum of 1 years experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is essential; additional training will be provided for the right candidate. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills are essential for success in this role. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.

Pay: 12.21-12.75 per hour
