Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacy staff in delivering quality patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy. Your responsibilities will include assisting with medication administration, providing excellent patient care, and performing various pharmacy-related tasks.

Duties:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Prepare prescription orders by retrieving, counting, pouring, weighing, and measuring medications
- Package and label prescriptions accurately
- Maintain proper storage and security conditions for medications
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and restocking medications and supplies
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients by answering questions and addressing concerns
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record keeping

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Pharmacy Technician program is preferred
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or related role is an asset
- Strong knowledge of medication names, dosages, and uses
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Proficient computer skills for data entry and record keeping
