Pharmacy Assistant - Chelsea, London

Our pharmacy in Chelsea, London is looking for a Medicines Counter Assistant / Pharmacy Assistant.

The Role

As part of our pharmacy team, you will support the Pharmacy Manager in delivering an excellent customer experience. We will support you to gain your Healthcare Assistant qualification if you don't have it already.

You will be expected to provide great service and advice, hand out medicines, and assist with pharmacy services. You will also help process retail sales and other operational tasks. We operate a Covid Vaccination Hub, and you will support that service as well. This will be for around 4-5 hours a day.

You will also be responsible for arranging the delivery of medicines to patients' homes, typically for around 3-4 hours a day. You will need a full and clean UK driving licence.

The Person

Ideally, you will have previous pharmacy or healthcare experience, and you will need to have a passion for pharmacy. You should have confidence in speaking to customers, the ability to communicate and ask questions effectively, and great customer care skills, as well as IT skills.

You should be a fast and keen learner with a real personal commitment to self-growth.

Above all, you need to be a real team player.

The expected normal working week will be 40 hours during the opening hours.

The pharmacy is open Mon-Sat, 9.00am to 6.30pm.
