Responsibilities

Assist pharmacist with dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently Prepare medication labels and package medicines for patient collection Maintain organised stock levels and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals Support medication administration procedures under supervision Provide excellent customer service by answering queries and offering guidance on over-the-counter products Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and pharmacy protocols Maintain accurate records of medication dispensed and patient interactions Support with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management

Skills

Previous experience as a pharmacy assistant or in a similar role is highly desirable Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmaceutical terminology Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and professionally Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on safety and accuracy Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
