Job Description

`Duties`
- Assist patients in picking up and handing in prescriptions
- Maintain proper storage and security conditions for all drugs
- Manage inventory and stock medications as needed
- Process invoices
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and answer any medication-related questions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate medication to patients

- Answering calls and dealing with patient queries

`Qualifications`
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will be the face of the pharmacy and play a vital role in supporting the pharmacist and pharmacy team in providing quality patient care. Your duties will include assisting with handling prescriptions, managing inventory, giving relevant medical advice with over the counter medicinal products, processing patient requests, and providing exceptional customer service. To succeed in this role, you should have an understanding of pharmacy operations, possess excellent organizational skills, communication skills and have a passion for patient care.
