Job Description
QUALIFIED DISPENSER/ REQUIRED FOR BUSY NHS GP PRACTICE
Full or Part time role considered.
Start date 4th August 25 but willing to wait for the right candidat.
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our team in our friendly GP Practice in leafy Hertfordshire. You will be part of a flexible team and should have an NVQ2 or equivalent qualification in dispensing/pharmacy.
Candidates should preferably have dispensary experience either within a GP practice, community pharmacy or a secondary care pharmacy department.
The position will require the applicant to be flexible in modifying working patterns and/or overtime within the dispensary team when required. Driver preferred.
The vacancy is from 20h up to 37.5 hours a week working hours between the hours of 8:00am and 6.30pm (with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break between 1-2pm) to meet the needs of the dispensary, Monday to Friday.
Salary is negotiable & dependent on experience.

There is a strong sense of team values within our organisation and the successful candidate should have initiative and enthusiasm. Previous experience of working with the general public in healthcare would be desirable. You should have good IT skills & training will be given on our systems.

Duties will include
Processing repeat & acute medication
Stock ordering
Cash handling
Taking telephone calls & dealing with patient queries
Admin & Reception duties
Booking appointments
Undertake any additional tasks that may be required and appropriate to maintain high standards and efficient services in the GP practice.

Pay: 23,836.50-26,325.00 per year
