Pharmacy Assistant
Job Description
Working in a busy community pharmacy. Experienced Dispensing Assistant preferred however a Qualified Medicines Counter assistant would be considered. We are looking for 16-24 hours over Friday, Saturday & Monday. Overtime is also regularly available.
Knowledge of pharmacy services such as handling of prescriptions , Pharmacy Care Scheme, Flu vaccination , Stop smoking services & healthy living advice would be beneficial.
The position will be very rewarding to the right individuals who are able to provide an excellent customer service experience under sometimes stressful situations.
Summary
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will be essential in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the pharmacy team. Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager and Supervisor, your role will involve assisting customers with their inquiries, processing prescriptions, and ensuring the pharmacy operates smoothly. Your core skills in patient care, combined with premium experience as a pharmacy assistant, will enable you to contribute effectively to our mission of providing excellent pharmaceutical services. Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and provide patient care by answering inquiries and addressing concerns. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations. Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with patients and providing information about prescriptions and health products. Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow and inventory management.
