Job Description

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you'll be part of a team focused on helping patients with their self-care needs, giving clear advice on health & pharmacy products and medicines, as well as the services we provide. You will usually be the first point of contact for patients and customers and so it is essential you have a friendly personality and have excellent communication skills.

Your role will involve the following tasks as well as others:

Ensuring patients receive a friendly and informed service Communicating with patients regarding prescriptions and over the counter queries Supporting the delivery of professional services in the pharmacy Training and providing advice on over the counter medicines, vitamins, skincare etc
Skills:

Ability to work as part of a team and independently Passion for supporting health and self-care Previous experience of working within a pharmacy with Medicines Counter Assistant Course qualification (preferred but not essential as training will be provided) We stock a large range of vitamins & supplements, as well as many skincare brands and experience in working with similar products and brands, is preferred. Excellent communication skills and customer rapport Compassionate and caring attitude
