Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate dispensing of medications and providing exceptional patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of medication administration and the ability to work collaboratively within a pharmacy setting.

Duties

Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Assist in the preparation and packaging of medications for patients, including labelling and providing necessary information. Serve customers and provide consultations for various services Conduct medication administration under the supervision of a qualified pharmacist. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions dispensed and manage inventory levels effectively. Provide excellent patient care by answering queries and offering advice on medication usage and potential side effects. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Uphold cleanliness and organisation within the pharmacy environment, adhering to health and safety standards.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dispenser or in a similar role is highly desirable. Familiarity with medication administration processes is essential. Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients and colleagues. A commitment to providing high-quality patient care and maintaining confidentiality at all times. Attention to detail is crucial, alongside the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. UK Right to Work-Please note sponsorship is not offered with this role
