We are seeking a motivated, friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team.

The role is for a full time Pharmacy Assistant to work in our busy community pharmacy in Wimbledon Park Monday to Friday 9am-6pm

We are seeking candidates looking for a long term position and there may be opportunities for career enhancement throughout the company.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a busy retail pharmacy, a methodical and accurate approach to practical tasks and a passion for customer care and service.

Candidates who have completed a Medicines Counter Assistant course are preferred. However, consideration will be given to less experienced candidates and any successful candidate will supported with full training.

Essential requirements:

- Fluent spoken and written English

- Able to promote pharmacy services

- Reliable and punctual

- Able to work under pressure and as a part of a team

- Motivated and hard working

- Understanding of confidential issues

Duties include:

- Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers

- Cash handling and till operation

- Keeping the store tidy and clean and following store procedures

- Stock control and management - ordering via a number of wholesalers, receiving and checking deliveries, reporting any discrepancies

- Dealing with patient requests for repeat medication

- Helping our with tasks in the dispensary where required
