Job Summary

We are recruiting for a dedicated and detail-oriented Healthcare Assistant to join our team. This position will require you to work between two stores and on both the counter and in the dispensary on a rota basis..

We are seeking a candidate who will ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medications to patients, who will also be attentive and caring on the counter, which the Rightpharm stores are known for.

This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, strong team working, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care both in the Dispensary and on the Counter.

Duties are varied. Below is a shortened list of what we require.

Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Provide information and guidance to patients regarding their medications, including dosage instructions and potential side effects. Assist in the preparation and administration of medication under the supervision of a Responsible Pharmacist. Manage inventory levels effectively, both in the dispensary and the shop. Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

Previous Pharmacy experience or in a similar role is highly desirable, but will consider someone with no experience. Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and your team. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in pharmacy practice. Relevant qualifications or certifications in pharmacy practice are an advantage but not mandatory.
