Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently Manage stock levels, including ordering, receiving, and storing medications Provide exceptional customer service by answering queries and offering medication advice within scope of practice Support medication administration processes under supervision, ensuring compliance with safety standards Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information in accordance with data protection regulations Ensure the pharmacy environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations Support patient care activities by assisting with medication counselling and health promotion initiatives as directed by the pharmacist

Qualifications

Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar healthcare setting is essential Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy operations Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team A recognised qualification in pharmacy support or related field is desirable but not essential Commitment to ongoing professional development within the pharmaceutical sector
