Role Description
This is a full-time or part-time on-site role for a Pharmacy Assistant role. The Pharmacy Assistant will assist in dispensing medications based on prescriptions, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service. The role also involves answering and directing phone calls, assisting customers with inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace to support operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Knowledge of Prescription handling and understanding of Pharmacy operations
Strong Customer Service skills with the ability to assist patients courteously and professionally
Proficiency in Inventory Management, including stocking and organizing supplies effectively
Excellent Phone Etiquette to provide clear communication and assist customers over telephone
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment
Basic computer literacy for managing pharmacy software systems is a plus
Prior experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is advantageous
