Duties

Assist pharmacists with dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently Manage stock levels, including ordering, receiving, and storing medicines Prepare medication labels and ensure correct labelling of prescriptions Provide excellent customer service by answering patient queries and offering guidance on over-the-counter products Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring compliance with safety protocols Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information in accordance with data protection regulations Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards Support administrative tasks such as filing, invoicing, and managing inventory documentation

Skills

Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar role is highly desirable but not necessary as full training will be provided Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy operations Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment Compassionate approach towards patient care and confidentiality awareness Basic IT skills for managing electronic records and pharmacy management systems
