Pharmacy Counter Assistant

About the Role

As a Pharmacy Counter Assistant, you'll play a vital role in the daily operations of the pharmacy. You'll assist customers with their healthcare needs and ensure they receive outstanding service and support.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Assisting customers at the counter and processing transactions Offering advice on over-the-counter medicines and general health concerns Managing stock, organising shelves, and checking product expiry dates Supporting the pharmacy team with general duties Keeping the pharmacy clean, safe, and welcoming Participating in relevant training and development

Work Schedule

Minimum of 4-5 days per week Alternate Saturdays (9 AM - 1 PM) Additional hours available to cover holidays and staff absences

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Experience in retail or another customer-facing role A flexible approach to working hours and rota requirements Friendly, team-oriented attitude and a proactive mindset Strong communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to complete accredited pharmacy training

Desirable:

Previous experience in a pharmacy or related field Completion of NPA Interact Course or equivalent Ability to speak Welsh
