Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations by assisting pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and efficient administration of medications. Duties

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately. Provide excellent patient care by answering queries and offering guidance on medication usage. Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock and placing orders as necessary. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as pharmacy policies. Perform administrative tasks such as filing prescriptions, updating patient records, and managing billing processes. Support medication administration under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role is highly desirable. Strong understanding of medication administration processes and pharmaceutical terminology. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on patient interaction. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. A commitment to providing high-quality patient care and support within a team environment. Relevant certifications or training in pharmacy assistance would be an advantage but are not mandatory.
