We are currently seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Sonning Common, Berkshire. As a vital member of our pharmacy staff, you will play a key role in supporting our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.

Responsibilities:

Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently Provide excellent customer service, including answering queries and offering healthcare advice Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed medications and supplies, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt, and removing outdated drugs Help to keep the pharmacy clean and organized Process prescriptions and insurance claims Adhere to all pharmacy regulations and safety standards

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred Excellent customer service and communication skills Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Pharmacy Assistant certification is a plus or pharmacy Medicine Counter experience

Hours:

----------

Hours required are:

Tuesday & Friday 9am-6pm with 60 minutes unpaid lunch break

every other Saturday 9am - 1pm

A total of 18 hours average per week
