Pharmacy Assistant
Job Description
Assist the pharmacist in dispensing prescription and over-the-counter medications.
Prepare and label medicines under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
Manage inventory by ordering, receiving, and organizing medical stock.
Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, and maintain proper storage of medications.
Appropriately handle customer inquiries in person and over the telephone.
Cooperate with other staff members to deliver the best healthcare to patients.
Ensure compliance with all pharmaceutical laws, health and safety standards, and company policies.
Take initiative within the team to collectively keep the pharmacy clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
Requirements:
Someone able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver the best healthcare service to our patients. Someone with experience working in a pharmacy, understanding the fast paced nature of the working environment. Someone comfortable and capable of handling telephone communications.
