Duties:
To assist the pharmacy manager in providing a confidential friendly, efficient and professional healthcare service to the local community.
To deal with customer queries and requests in relation to the sale of over-the-counter medicines and prescriptions in a polite and courteous manner
Performs administrative duties, including answering phones, receiving and inputting prescription orders, operating cash registers, and restocking inventory
Gathers, organises, and assesses patient information
Monitors prescription-filling process to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and pharmacy policies
Liaises with healthcare providers and patients to obtain correct prescription information
Give great customer service and answers patients' questions about their medications under the supervision of the pharmacist. Supplies patients with information and education about their medication.
Maintains electronic patient information
Completes patients' sales transactions for the purchase of prescription and over-the-counter medications as well as other pharmaceutical products
making sales ordering, receiving and managing stock, merchandising and display
Undergo relevant product and governance training
Self-motivated, well organized and able to work to deadlines
Be able to work on your own and as part of a team
Pleasant, tactful manner when dealing with the public either in person or via the phone
Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
