We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently Provide courteous support to patients, answering queries and offering guidance on over-the-counter products Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring compliance with safety protocols Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient interactions in line with data protection regulations Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards Support administrative tasks such as filing, invoicing, and updating patient records as required

Experience

Prior experience in a community pharmacy or in a healthcare setting is highly desirable but training will be given Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy operations is advantageous Experience providing patient care or customer service within a healthcare environment is beneficial Strong organisational skills with attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate records and managing stock effectively Excellent communication skills to support effective patient interactions and team collaboration
