Role Overview:

As a Pharmacy Assistant / Dispenser, you will play a crucial dual role in our pharmacy, both at the counter and behind the scenes. You will support our dispensing processes while providing exceptional customer service. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to advance their careers in pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately dispense medication and process prescriptions in a timely manner. Assist customers with healthcare sales and provide advice on minor ailments. Work closely with the supervising pharmacist and the entire pharmacy team to develop your skills. Maintain high standards of literacy and numeracy. Promote and deliver pharmacy services, identifying opportunities to enhance customer care. Perform independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent planning and organizational skills. Handle high-pressure situations with confidence and efficiency.
Essential Skills:

Strong communication skills and a passion for customer service. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Desire to go the extra mile for patients and provide outstanding healthcare service. Minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification in Pharmacy Dispensing (NVQ Level 1 candidates who are keen to progress will be considered). - Desirable skill*
