Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be involved in preparing medications ready for dispensing, providing excellent patient care, and supporting pharmacy operations. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to patient safety and wellbeing within a professional environment. Prior pharmacy technician experience and knowledge of medication administration is welcome but not essential

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in preparing and organising medication orders Provide guidance to patients on medication usage, storage, and potential side effects Maintain records of dispensed medications and patient interactions Support inventory management by stock checking and reordering supplies as needed Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the pharmacy setting Offer compassionate patient care, addressing queries and providing support where necessary Uphold confidentiality and data protection standards at all times

Requirements

Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar role is welcome but not essential Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment A caring attitude with a focus on patient care and safety Relevant qualifications or certifications in pharmacy practice are advantageous but not essential

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
