Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. Monday to Friday with a Saturday working on a Rota , two to three days a week.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a pharmacy environment.

Duties

Accurately dispense prescribed medications and ensure proper labelling in accordance with pharmacy regulations. Assist pharmacists in medication administration and provide guidance to patients regarding their prescriptions. Maintain accurate patient records and manage inventory levels of pharmaceutical products. Conduct regular checks on medication stock, ensuring that all items are stored correctly and safely. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes through effective medication management. Uphold hygiene standards and comply with health and safety regulations within the pharmacy setting.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Pharmacy dispenser / Assistant or in a similar role is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of working in a pharmacy environment Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff. A keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in dispensing medications and maintaining records. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while prioritising tasks effectively. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and support. Ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a small Team. Relevant qualifications or certifications in pharmacy practice are advantageous.

Pay: 12.35-12.75 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 22.5 per week
