per hour - dependant on experience and industry related qualifications i.e. NVQ2, NVQ3, ACT

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Branch Manager to oversee the operations of our branch. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, managing staff, and maintaining compliance with all regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills, a background in pharmacy or healthcare, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our patients. They must hold at least an NVQ2 in Dispensing and have at least two years UK community pharmacy experience.

Duties

Lead and manage the daily operations of the branch, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company policies. Supervise and train staff, including pharmacy technicians, to ensure high standards of medication administration and patient care. Maintain accurate records of medication dispensation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Develop and implement strategies to improve branch performance and enhance patient satisfaction. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient outcomes. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate stock of medications and supplies. Address any patient concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.

Requirements

Proven experience in a managerial role within a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred. Knowledge of medication administration practices is essential. Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is highly desirable. Certification as a qualified Dispenser is essential. Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and support.
