Job Description

We are a well-established family-run pharmacy in Hoxton (Shoreditch), London N1 since 1987. We have a modern working environment offering many NHS & Private patient services. We are looking for someone with suitable skills to join our shop floor team and fill the position of retail pharmacy assistant. We are a busy, vibrant community pharmacy who puts our patients at the centre of what we do and are looking for an individual who shares our passion for pharmacy and excellence. You will be working on the shop floor as a customer services sales assistant and supporting health promotion. You MUST have current UK retail experience.

This position is for 5 full days a week Mon-Saturdays (40 hours) Additional days to cover holidays will also be available from time to time.

This is a full time position working for 40 hours a week.

We are looking that is bilingual in Turkish and English

You ESSENTIAL

Retail counter sales experience (current)

Good spoken and written English

Essential numeracy & Literacy skills

Full UK work permit

Able to work 5 days a week Mon-Saturday (40 hours) Must be flexible to work to cover staff holiday leave.

Basic knowledge of MS 'Word' & MS 'Excel'

Basic IT skills (data entry)

Cash handling/till work experience/shop floor customer service

Clean CRB check/Disclosure & Barring Service check (or able to pass one when required)

You PREFERABLE

Pharmacy training NVQ level 1/ 'pharmacy interact' or 'medicines counter assistant' or equivalent.

Turkish language skills would be beneficial

Full relevant training and support will be given to the successful candidate.

Pay 12.21 per hour starting pay

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in providing excellent patient care and medication administration. Handle customer inquiries and provide bilingual support in English and Turkish. Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Word and Excel. Manage cash handling transactions efficiently and securely. Ensure a clean and organized pharmacy counter environment. Collaborate with team members to enhance customer service and operational efficiency.
