We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Counter Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and support within our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with experience within a pharmacy being highly advantageous. As a Counter Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
- Process customer orders and manage transactions accurately.
- Maintain an organised and clean counter area to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Provide information regarding products and services offered.
- Assist in managing inventory levels and restocking shelves as necessary.
- Support the pharmacy team with medication administration tasks when required.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with patience and professionalism.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the day.
Skills
- Strong background in patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards customers.
- Previous experience preferred but training will be given..
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work well within a team.
