J. Docter Limited is an independent pharmacy chain located in the West Midlands. We are currently recruiting for a part-time Counter Assistant to work 20 hours at our Walsall branch.
As the first point of contact with our patients, the successful candidate will be an important member of our team.
Applicants must be committed, hardworking and provide great customer service to our patients. The ability to respond to medical queries in a sensitive and professional manner is a key aspect of this role. Good IT skills, attention to detail and excellent communication skills are all essential.
The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast paced environment and work well as part of a team.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
Serve customers showing high standards of customer care at all times and provide a professional and friendly service.
Make over the counter sales and offer advice to customers.
Work well as part of a team, liaising with the all pharmacy staff and other health professionals.
Deal with a wide range of patient enquiries.
OTC stock ordering.
Respect confidentiality of information concerning customers in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
The above list is not exhaustive. You may be required to perform other duties, those deemed reasonable by your manager.
Experience in a similar role or pharmaceutical setting is essential. Training and on the job support will be provided.
