Employer: Affinity Pharmacy

Position: Pharmacy Delivery Driver (must have own car)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, starting at 2:00pm daily

Hours: Flexible, approx. 15-20 hours per week

Rate: NMW + 35p/mile

Experience: Previous pharmacy delivery experience

Affinity Pharmacy is seeking a reliable and compassionate Pharmacy Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering medications directly to patients in their homes, as well as to local care homes, ensuring timely, safe, and confidential delivery of essential prescriptions. Candidate will be required to use their own car.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver medications to patients and care homes in an efficient and professional manner. Uphold strict patient confidentiality at all times. Communicate empathetically and respectfully with vulnerable patients, carers, and healthcare professionals. Follow delivery schedules and maintain accurate delivery records. Represent Affinity Pharmacy with professionalism and courtesy.
Essential Qualities & Skills

Previous experience in a similar delivery or healthcare support role. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact sensitively and confidently with vulnerable individuals. Strong sense of confidentiality and understanding of data protection principles. Reliable, punctual, and responsible, with strong organisational skills. Good knowledge of local routes and ability to navigate efficiently. Professional and courteous manner when dealing with care home staff and patients. Full valid driving licence and a clean driving record.
