We are seeking a reliable and responsible Pharmacy Delivery Driver to join our team. This part-time position (15 to 25 hours per week) involves delivering medications and pharmacy products to our patients, using your own vehicle. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to providing outstanding service. You will have a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of prescriptions to our patients while upholding the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:



Ensuring the safe and secure handling of prescription medicines. Providing exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring they are treated with dignity and respect at all times. Deliver medications, prescriptions, and other pharmacy products to customers, nursing homes, and healthcare facilities. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders as scheduled. Verify prescriptions and delivery details to ensure accuracy. Maintain a high level of customer service, interacting courteously with patients and healthcare professionals. Handle deliveries in a safe and professional manner, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Ensure that all items are delivered securely, and manage returns and undelivered items as needed. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times and locations.

Essential Requirements:



A valid UK driving license.

Excellent communication and customer service skills. A professional and friendly demeanour.

Access to your own vehicle and relevant insurance

Be able to use a smart phone (one will be provided for you in order to access our delivery app) Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage delivery schedules efficiently. Ability to lift and carry packages as required for deliveries. Prior experience in delivery or customer service is a plus, but not required. Must pass background check and drug screening.

Desirable Criteria:



A good knowledge of the local area. A good level of physical fitness, as some lifting may be required. Previous experience of prescription delivery is desirable, but not essential. Must be friendly, approachable and ambitious Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment A passion for learning and a willingness to be trained on additional services for the needs of the business Intuitive individual with new and exciting ideas on how to continue to grow the business
