Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and motivated
Delivery Driver
to join our busy community pharmacy team in Coventry. The role is based primarily at ourRadford branch
(318 Radford Road, CV6 3AA), with occasional cover required at ourCanley branch
(42 Prior Deram Walk, CV4 8FT) during staff holidays and peak periods.Hours
~20 hours per week
Monday to Friday
, 1pm - 5pm Flexibility is essential to meet the operational needs of the pharmacyRole Overview
A company vehicle will be provided during your shift to support your daily duties.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Promptly delivering prescription items to patients' homes, workplaces, and residential/nursing homes Acting as a key point of contact for housebound or vulnerable patients, maintaining a polite, friendly, and professional manner Collecting prescriptions from GP surgeries across the city when required Transporting goods between branches Carrying out other pharmacy-related tasks as assigned
What We're Looking For
Full clean UK driver's licence
Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery deadlines Strong organisational skills, including efficient route planning High levels of accuracy and attention to detail Respect for patient confidentiality Good communication and people skills Knowledge of the local area is an advantage, butfull training will be provided
Delivery Volume
Average of
40-50 drops per shift
Job Types: Contract, Permanent
Pay: 12.21 per hour
