This is a part-time (up to 20 hours) on-site role for a Pharmacy delivery driver based in Edinburgh City. The main responsibilities of the Pharmacy delivery driver role includes:

Safely and promptly deliver medications and other pharmacy items to patients' homes, care facilities, or healthcare settings. Maintain confidentiality and follow all legal and regulatory requirements regarding the handling of prescription medicines. Provide excellent customer service and represent the pharmacy in a professional manner. Accurately record deliveries and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery. Assist with organising, loading, and checking delivery orders Report any vehicle issues, delays, or incidents to the pharmacy team. Support the pharmacy team with occasional in-store tasks as needed.
Experience & Qualifications

Full, clean UK driving licence (essential). Previous experience in a delivery or driving role (preferred but not essential). Good knowledge of local routes and ability to use navigation apps. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Basic numeracy and record-keeping skills. Professional, courteous, and customer-focused. ??Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills ??The ability to work well in a team, including the ability to communicate effectively ??Ability to adapt to new technology and software systems required for duties ??Able to follow instructions with accuracy and efficiently manage time and duties ??Able to cope with pressure and work efficiently and accurately, even during busy periods.

Additional Requirements



Must be over 21 years. Able to lift and carry small to medium parcels safely. DBS check may be required.
