Delivery Driver

to make sure patients receive their medicines and healthcare essentials safely and on time.

The role

You'll be the face of our service on the doorstep, collecting prescriptions from local GP surgeries and delivering to patients across the area. Start times are fixed; shift length varies with the day's route volume, so flexibility is essential.

A delivery van is provided for use only during shifts.

What you'll do:

Safely and efficiently deliver prescribed medicines and healthcare products to patients' homes. Collect prescriptions from local GP surgeries. Use our delivery app to manage routes, capture signatures, and keep records up to date. Handle items with care, including temperature-sensitive medicines, and follow SOPs. Maintain a timely, well-organised schedule and adapt to changing priorities. Communicate clearly with the pharmacy team about any delays, issues, or patient queries. Represent the pharmacy with warmth, discretion, and professionalism at every doorstep.
What you'll bring

Essential

Full, valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Excellent people skills and clear communication. A genuine commitment to outstanding patient service and confidentiality

Nice to have

Good knowledge of Edinburgh/Bruntsfield and surrounding routes. Previous delivery, healthcare, or customer-facing experience.
