Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires excellent driving skills, good communication, and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading. The ideal applicant will have prior experience in delivery driving and possess a strong work ethic.

Duties

Safely operate company vehicles, including vans or lorries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Plan delivery routes to optimise efficiency and timeliness Load and unload goods, often involving heavy lifting, with care and attention to safety procedures Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries and obtain necessary signatures upon receipt Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle Assist in warehouse tasks when required, including stock organisation and inventory checks

Experience

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role involving commercial driving Valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., car, or van Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members Familiarity with local routes and navigation tools is preferred

Hours- 1-5pm Monday to Friday

Cover holiday when other deiver is off

May include Saturdays

Wage -minimum wage

Traning - will be trained with working aomgside another driver

Vehicle - company van to driver
