Role based in Liverpool, delivering stock and prescriptions to Huyton and Southport area
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial part in maintaining customer satisfaction through efficient service.

Duties

Operate a delivery van to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring safe handling of products. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery confirmations. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Assist in the warehouse when not on deliveries, including inventory management and organisation of stock.

Requirements

Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is preferred. Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 30 kg) as required. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members and customers. Familiarity with local roads and routes is beneficial. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
