Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Zero Hours Pharmacy Delivery Driver (who must have their own vehicle ) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering prescriptions safely and efficiently from our pharmacy in the Wythenshawe area to our patients and the care homes we service. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle lifting, ensuring that deliveries are made in a timely manner while adhering to all safety regulations.

The position is zero hours but there will usually be around 2 hours a day Monday to Friday of deliveries so would ideally suit someone looking for a part time position

Duties

Safely deliver prescription medication to patients and care homes in the Wythenshawe area. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling of heavy lifting tasks. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any issues encountered using our pharmdel delivery system Communicate effectively with pharmacy staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any changes. Follow all traffic laws and company policies while driving to ensure safety on the road.

Experience

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver is preferred (ideally in pharmacy) Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices is advantageous. Pleasant and helpful nature for a positive customer experience Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with team members and customers. A clean valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle being operated is required.
