Job Summary

Part time job. 2 days a week 3 hours per day.
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to drive a van, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service.

Duties

Drive a delivery van to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring that all products are handled safely and securely. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or damages. Assist with heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Valid driving licence with a clean driving record. Ability to drive a van and operate commercial vehicles safely. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. Capability to perform heavy lifting as needed during deliveries. A good understanding of local roads and routes is advantageous.
