Salary: 15 per hour

We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team on a zero-hours contract to cover staff holidays and occasional busy periods.

As a Pharmacy Delivery Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring patients receive their prescriptions promptly and safely. You'll be responsible for delivering medication to patients' homes while maintaining high standards of customer service and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering prescriptions to patients in a timely and professional manner Ensuring the safe handling and accurate delivery of all medications Providing friendly and respectful service to patients Completing delivery records and obtaining necessary signatures Adhering to confidentiality and data protection policies Reporting any delivery issues to the pharmacy promptly Following all health and safety and road traffic regulations

Requirements:

Full UK driving licence (held for at least 12 months) Access to your own reliable and insured vehicle suitable for work use Good knowledge of the local area (Whitley Bay and surroundings) Excellent communication and time management skills Friendly, professional, and trustworthy manner Ability to work independently and reliably Flexible availability to cover shifts at short notice

Desirable:

Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting Basic understanding of patient confidentiality and data protection

Contract Type:

Zero Hours - This role is primarily to provide

holiday cover

for our regular drivers. Hours are

not guaranteed

and will vary based on staffing needs.

Pay:

15 per hour
